I'm not perfect..

and, I will NEVER even try to pretend to be.

That being said I started the C25K with ALL intentions of finishing it in a timely manner. However, I just slacked off and stopped doing it as I planned.

So, I decided to restart. But, I knew I had to switch SOMETHING up in order to succeed! I decided I would take a picture of my treadmill AFTER each session. And, post them on Facebook so that I could see the change. I knew that would motivate me.

I started from the very beginning on Monday! I was so nervous. I really didn't want to do it. But, I had promised myself I would, so I did.

And, I rocked it!

I'm off to complete day 2. And, then later today I'll come back and post pictures :)

C25K

I heard a lot about the C25K program through LAPBANDTALK.COM when I was thinking of going that route. But, I didn't ever research it or whatever.

Until the other day I realized they had an Android App for it.

After reading up on it, I think it's JUST what I've been looking for. I really want to start running. I have NEVER been able to run without feeling like I was going to die.

If you don't know what C25K is, it's basically a program you do 3x a week for 9 weeks.
It's a lot of walking and running combined to build up your ability to run for 5k non stop!

My plan is to start on Monday! =)

Meeting with Personal Trainer

Yesterday was my first REAL work out session with the trainer.

Oh my gosh.

I enjoyed it. I thought I got a good work out. But boy! Did he kick my butt?!!

I'm so glad I signed up because now I have more ideas on how to use the 30 minute circuit training equipment at the gym! It'll help me push myself a little farther!

I have another appointment next week. And, one the week after. I will put those updates here also.

The next two topics are upper and lower body.
Then we will plan out my weekly work out routine :)

FitBit!!

Recently, I seen a post on a friends blog I follow that talked about this nifty little widget called a FitBit. I love technology so I quickly researched it to find out what it was!

It's called the FitBit! The following is taken straight from their site:

Not just activity, but calories too!

The Fitbit Tracker contains a motion sensor like the ones found in the Nintendo Wii. The Tracker senses your motion in three dimensions and converts this into useful information about your daily activities. The Tracker measures the intensity and duration of your physical activities.

Basically you wear it and it tells you how active or inactive you are, tracks how many steps you take. And, then can also help track your sleep.

I quickly fell in love so I asked Phil to buy me one for my birthday! I researched this bad boy over and over again! And, I was dying to get it!

Tonight we went and got it. I'll officially start using it tomorrow. Tonight I'm charging it, and setting it up.. but I will use it at bed time to track sleep. Just because I'm so interesting! I'm going to find out how to add a widget to it on here so ya'll can spy on me if you want LOL!

Thanks Lisa for posting about this awesome thing!

Wii

I wanted to buy a Wii as soon as I knew I was definitely having my surgery. I figured it was an easy way to exercise at home if I couldn't make it to the gym one day. So I told my little brother about it and he actually doesn't use his anymore so he gave me his!

YAY! I was excited. We went out and bought the Wii fit plus, and the original wii fit because we found that disc for 4 bucks! I also bought the Biggest Loser Challenge. And, as of yesterday I'm the proud owner of Just Dance 2.

I must say it's a fun way to exercise. But, not so fun alone.

I have lost a lot of interest in it. When I first got the games I was playing daily. But, now I'm doing the gym about 4-5 times a week so it's not always necessary. However, tomorrow I'm going to start trying to use it more.

I will also be reviewing the games I've bought!

Hopefully, I'll lose this 35 pounds I want to lose ASAP!
